Did you know that JON BON JOVI inspired in the film « MEET JOE BLACK » (Brad Pitt) to write the song "Thank You For Loving Me»?

-A lot of times I write songs using film's stories. In this case, I went to see «Meet Joe Black», and in one scene, in the end of the movie, Brad hold Claire Forloni in his arms and says to her: -Thank You For Loving Me- and I went, I had to; I run home and wrote this song similar to «Always» or «Bed Of Roses» or a lot of others ballads which converted into hits during all these years.
I saw the general ideia in the movie...this was something I could do in 10 minutes.


&#SAVE THE WORLD - soundtrack:

-Jerry Brockheimer sent me the script of ;Armageddon&; and asked me to write a song to film's soundtrack and perhaps to the movie.
When I read the script,immediately knew that the personage which Ben Affleck was working, which leave Liv Tyler, to go and save the world and found out he was in love with her,that was the savior boy of the movie. This was the story to me, that was what I would write; to me was clear and I wrote this song and, truly, I love it a lot.
I kept it because I found out that they had the Aerosmith's ballad doing this song; who was the film's soundtrack band in the end.
Then I improved the lyrics doing it a lit bit more personal,but the song's base came of the story of «Armageddon»."

__Song which later would be included in their next album «Crush», which would be a beautiful ballad, maybe the better on the record, to many people, and why not, a good historic ballad.
__Finally BON JOVI ended being part of Armaggedon's soundtrack but not with «Save the world» and yes with a Jon's song called «Mister Big Time».
